View from the Bridge Yerevan

Yerevan Bridge is the bridge connecting Dekwaneh to Ashrafieh and Beirut.
In order to construct it, several  buildings from the area of Bourj Hamoud had to be demolished. Now the bride passes just next to the buildings floor 2 inhabitants, sometimes only separated by half a meter.
These glass separations are supposed to stop the sound and dust from the bridge to enter the homes of its neighbors.

Scene from a traffic jam

Today, I was stuck on the bridge from Dekwaneh to Ashrafieh for about one hour; the usual Beirut-rainy-day traffic.
My only distraction was that big eye looking at me. It is part of an old flex ad for a nokia (visible on the side of the truck), good sustainable re-use; but the upside down eye is just so intense.
finally the sweet underground parking!
